BOOKKEEPING SERVICES

COMPANY ACCOUNTS PREPARATION
Limited companies have to file their annual accounts with the registrar of companies and HMRC.
We will assist with the preparation of the statutory accounts to ensure they are in the correct format, comply with the Companies Act and are filed on time at Companies House.
Accounts are due 9 months after the year end (9 months after the date of incorporation for first set).

CORPORATION TAX RETURNS
Most limited companies are required to file with HMRC a corporation tax computation and return, CT600, based on their annual accounts.
I will ensure returns are filed on time, the tax figure is correct (based on information provided by you)and tax is paid by the due date.
Any payment due must be paid 9 months after the accounting period end and the return is due 12 months after the accounting period end.

SOLE TRADERS
If you decide to become self employed you will need to provide a Self Assessment to HMRC. I can provide the following services for you:
- Preparation of accounts from your records
- Maintaining the accounting records for your business
- Calculating personal tax liabilities
- Completing self assessment tax returns
A tax self assessment must be filed online by 31 January following the tax year.

OTHER SERVICES
- VAT: assist with VAT registering, completion of VAT returns
- Company secretarial: filing of company's Confirmation Statement, assistance with completion and filing of forms to Companies House.
- Self Assessment: completion of return for your approval, file online with HMRC, deal with any queries from HMRC on your behalf, advice on how to reduce your tax liability.
